House Bill 169, Regulatory Reduction Act of 2016, would, among other things, make it more difficult for state agencies to adopt rules that impose significant financial costs on those affected. Specifically, any rule with a projected total impact on all potential affected persons totaling $100 million or more over 5 years would need to meet higher thresholds of approval to be adopted.
