HB 36 (3R) - Employers & Local Gov’t Must Use E-Verify

This bill requires counties, cities, and employers with 25 or more employees to use the federal E-Verify program to confirm the legal work authorization status of new employees. Civitas believes the conservative position is to ensure only citizens and legal residents have access to American jobs.
