HB 297; 2R - End Marketing/Sales Unborn Children Body Parts

Bans the selling of fetal remains and ends state funding of “family planning services”, for any provider who also performs abortions. Also orders fetal remains must be disposed of in a respectful manner, aka burial, cremation, or incineration. Civitas believes the conservative position is to take measures to protect the lives of the unborn, and that taxpayer funds should not be given to abortion providers. The conservative vote is yes.
