SB 49 - Parents’ Bill of Rights

Senate Bill 49: Parents’ Bill of Rights ensures transparency and accountability in education and upholds the rights of parents and guardians to oversee the direction of their children’s education, physical health, and mental well-being. Likewise, SB49 addresses multiple elements of instructional and administrative transparency, including the parents’ guide for student achievement — which Civitas Action believes will help with learning loss post-covid — and holistically empowers parental involvement in their children’s educational experience. Civitas Action believes the vote for freedom is a vote YES on SB49.
