SB 303; 2R - Protect Safety/Well-Being of NC Citizens

Prohibits NC state government from enforcing EPA rules on wood burning stoves. The EPA has adopted rules aimed at curbing emissions from wood heaters. The EPA standards are so restrictive that some estimate 80 percent of currently-existing wood heaters would be in violation. Civitas believes the conservative position is to oppose federal government regulatory overreach. The conservative vote is yes.
