SB 308 (2R) - State Regulation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions

This bill prohibits state agencies from adopting or enforcing a rule that regulate greenhouse gas emissions or limits human activity for the purpose of greenhouse gas emissions unless the rule is required by federal law or regulation or is more stringent than federal law or regulation. Civitas believes the conservative position is to limit any unnecessary and burdensome regulations that would increase costs and limit job creation.
