HB 7; VO - Community College Opt Out of Fed’l Loan Program

This bill allows community colleges to opt out of federal loan plans. Civitas believes the conservative position is to allow colleges to make sound financial decisions that allow them to avoid sanctions and lower college ratings due to high student default rates.
