HB 5; 2R - Local Deannexations

This bill de-annexes several towns that were involuntarily annexed and protects these towns from re-annexation for the next 12 years. Civitas believes the conservative position is to protect private property owners and allow citizens to determine whether or not they want to be part of a city.
